RBI GRADE B 2015 PHASE I SUCESS FORMULA : PRACTICE , REVISE AND RETAIN

The final success formula for RBI grade B phase I is very common which corresponds to all exams....Practice, revise and retain....

PRACTICE: Now is the time to join mock tests , choose some good ones and practice, only one mock test a day, give the test continuously in same way as you give in exam , after the test examine your score , your no. of attempts , correct answers and wrong answers and the areas that needs focus, than practice those weak areas from books or previous years or sample papers,

REVISE : Its very true that more you sweat in peace the less you bleed in war , so take out time, revise GA portion which will be the villain of Phase I as i call it,not try to grab any more facts now, revise what you have studied in GA till now provided you have read enough otherwise you must complete atleast GA from March to Nov 2015 ,  its not too late if you haven't done that, download GK capsules from any worthy site and learn them, that will be enough for passing GA ,for other sections revise the formulae and tricks ...

RETAIN : Above all the the fact which will help you most is retain , so it is very important that you don't take too much of stress otherwise you will forget whatever u have learnt , be cool , relaxed ,  if you were honest till now then you have studied enough and if not than still there's a lot of time, its never too late, so relax and study ...  keep breaks of 10 mints after every round of 2 hours of study..

I wish all the best to you all for these most crucial last seven days of your preparations....keep following the blog for some good GA portions is coming up next...

RBI GRADE B 2015 : SCORCH TRIALS

20 days left and still a large part of syllabus remains unstudied....what to do ?/?/
don't worry....pull up the shocks and get ready for the high intensity interval study....

Now is the time to study the RBI Grade B phase I  , concentrate your attention on general awareness part, 80 questions are from this section out of which roughly 50 % comes from economic affairs ... How to study General awareness (GA) for RBI grade B phase I....here we go...

To start  with just take any one  good monthly magazines like BSC , PD or Success mirror  , not all but any one,  read first 30 pages which generally contains all the GA part of that month in summarized form, if you are not a regular buyer of magazines than you can find the old PD on their websites , read at least for 6 months and maximum upto Jan 2015 , news before that will possibly not be asked in this exam, after you have finished it again refer any site like Banker's adda or any fav site of yours which have compiled GA from Jan 15 to Oct 15 in one pdf , read it for ready reckoner, then go for googling the new like recent social schemes, recent PM visits to countries and its capitals, currencies and pacts signed and all such economic issues....and that would be enough....and if you are not satisfied yet and you have time left then go through the RBI bulletins from Jan 15 to Oct 15 to get a broader picture of economic activities going on in this period...enjoy studying and keep  following the blog for more of such informations...

RBI GRADE B STUDY PLAN ( MICROECONOMICS BY HAL R. VARIAN )

whats up guys, howz preparation going on, are you going through the RBI Grade B study Material provided by me....and is it helping?? ....i wish it does...

For now i wanted to suggest about reading the second book suggested by RBI on microeconomics by Hal R. Varian , If you have studied NCERT's throughly and went through the 1st book By robert pyndick then you don't need to study this book by Hal R. varian , It's a book with 800 odd pages and explains everything in details for which you don't have enough time as you have to complete such a large portion of syllabus which is still left to complete , though if you have enough time you can go through the questions given at end of chapters, that will  help you a lot as there are good numerical questions  that can be asked as MCQ's in exam.... but still my suggestions are that giving this book much time will be useless, just attempt some MCQ's from internet randomly on microeconomics , assess your knowledge and move forward on to next part that is MACROECONOMICS....i have already uploaded the first book suggested by RBI on macroeco in my previous blogs, the second book will be uploaded tomorrow.... till the enjoy studying...follow the blog for more of such information and for any doubts or questions or suggestions or requirements do fill the contact form...
All the best ...

MICROECONOMICS ( RBI SUGGESTED BOOKS)

This is for those  who have started studying RBI's suggested first book i,e, on Microeconomics by Robert Pindick & Daniel Rubinfield ..... (Those who don't have this book can download it from my previous posts ) ....

How to read this book which has more than 500 pages ....  ??

Don't worry .... i will help ...

First and foremost thing i will repeat again....complete the NCERT's ...it's a must... why because....it has almost all the contents of the above mentioned book and it will make your journey easy.... after NCERT get the RBI suggested book..search for the chapter's you have to study...i would suggest 1-10

The chapters are mainly quantitive ....contains numerical analysis on graphs.... just read the  topics in bold....most of them you already know from ncert , some which you don't know u can read them....then each pages contains important definations written in margin, go through them....important lines in paragraphs are written in italics...read them....each chapter has examples on gasoline depicting theory applications....no need to read them....at the end of chapter is beautifully compressed summary of whole chapter....read it...learn it....and note it down for quick revision later on....this way you can surely complete the 1st book in two days atleast....we are still left with two days in microeco part for the second suggested book which i will brief how to read later....till then...keep studying...hold your nerves ... and be confident ....u can win provided you do a little extra study even then when you are not at all able to study due to tiredness....
